Dear Judith, I had more well known friends who have heard me sing many times in the past come up to me and ask what happened to my voice. Two friends in particular, whom I had been on stage with many times before. Both had the same comment "Where did you get that big booming voice all of a sudden???" They were truly blown away at the difference in quality in my voice, and frankly so am I. I can honestly say that if it was not for you, the partof Sweeney Todd would have torn my voice to shreds. I've had many vocalcoaches give me a million tips, you gave me a hand full and the difference was astonishing. If only I could write my Bio again for this show it would say "Thank you many times over to Judith, couldn't have done it without you". Cheers, Michael Howard - Sweeney Todd, Chameleon Productions

“Judith was my first voice teacher when I started out in the music business many years ago, and the techniques I learned from her laid the foundation for my singing and teaching careers. She became my role model as a true Renaissance woman in music-teacher, singer, pianist, composer, businesswoman- she could do it all and more, beautifully and with great success. Any student who has the good fortune to study with Judith will not only receive in-depth technical training, but the benefit of her multiple talents, vast experience, and continual creative energy.” Nadia Smelser - Professional Singer Lecturer in Voice, University of California, Irvine Adjunct Professor of Voice, Fullerton College

Judith found wonderful songs... The children loved the chance to sing her songs outside of her class and demonstrated a stong sense of rhythm and the ablilty to carry a tune. Of course Judith took a great deal of time to help us prepare for our International Sing and Dance. She was both flexible and helpful in giving us ideas for songs and helping the children learn the songs in a fun and unpressured way. Then, helping them to come across in a professional and comfortable manner while on stage. Margot Schindler - Teacher, Franklin Avenue Elementary

For the past 4 years, it has been a privilege, pleasure, and educational experience working with Judith Dunlore at Franklin Elementary School in Los Angeles. In that time, my students from grades 2 to 5 learned all about the elements of music because of Judith's distinctive teaching style, no-nonsense approach, and lovely piano playing. She expertly engrosses children in a song's rhythm, melody and lyrics. They became more attuned to reading music by playing the bells she provided. Her classes gave students a solid musical foundation that clearly encompassed Los Angeles Unified's Performing Arts Standards. Every winter, Judith showed great dedication to make our International Sing and Dance a sweet success. Whether our theme was water, food or Americana, she was willing to find material and give suggestions. She certainly turned me into a competent choral conductor and gave me more confidence to introduce music across my curriculum. While I will certainly miss Judith's vocal talents and teaching skills, I know many fortunate students will benefit from her in the near future. Barry Grayson - Teacher, Franklin Avenue Elementary
